Last oldie, I promise.I think this one is from 2001 or 2002, not sure. Either way, it's pre-comic stuff, "Guardiansverse". The color scheme for Arty is pretty much the same these days, but he's missing the white area on his tailfin. Vinci's a little less brown and more of a caramel color these days, and his hair is a lot less carrotey-brown-red and is closer to a plummy-purply red (I call it raspberry). And he doesn't have the collar in the strip.

I find it funny that Vinci's tail is so big in hear. It is like when Arty's hair began to grow Vinci's tail began to shrink. Out of the old stuff this is defiantly my favorite

This is my fav of your old stuff, I gotta say. I love the poses, the expressions and OMG the colors! It's like a paint truck exploded. I love how it shows their personalities as well. Arty's all like "Hey there!" and Vinci is going "um...hello..." I do so love Arty's tail too.

I love this colour transition of these two, Vinci looks SO adorable in his cute little way and Arty's all out there strutting his stuff.

^_^; Ah... it's always great to see old stuff, especially when you compare them up against your new things, and can see just how you've improved, or just how things have changed. Or even what things didn't change X3 To me at least, it seems that Vinci has gone through a LOT more changes than Arty, not only by the actual features of the character (like you were saying about the collar, or the colours) but also in the way that you draw them ^^ (Just like the general style... sometimes brought about by the improvement of art skills?)
