"Thank ya kindly sire for walkin' me to the station." The honey colored mare chirped in a sweet voice. "I still don't know this here big city properly"

"No need to thank me darling, and please call me Riposte" The wide smile on the pink prince's face widened even more as he flared his crystal shine in the sunlight.

Honeycrisp giggled as her cheeks flushed. She was definatley not used to this sort of attention, and from a prince no less.

They talked some more as they walked, or welll, prince Riposte did most of the talking with Honeycrisp listening intensly to every word he said.
He's such a handsome stallion, she thought to herself feeling blood rush to her cheeks once again when she looked up at his glittering face.

"So when my mother told me about her buisness in Canterlot I decided to come with. It's such a amazing city, the food, the ponies -" he glanced down at her and gave her a flirtatious smirk "- the scenery"

Honey quickly averted her gaze now with her face officially as red as her hat. Riposte laughed a bit to himself and whispered an inaudible "easy"
After a few more minutes of casual conversation Honey perked up at the sight of the train and quickly yelled:

"There he is!"

She trotted down to the big, dark red, stallion exiting the back of the train with a cart in tow. He looked up when he heard his little sisters sweet voice and smiled wide.

"Twiggy!" He yelled as she threw herself around his neck before he even had a chance to respond. "I'm so glad ya could come so quickly! We'd be in quite the pickle without these here apples"

She refered to the contents of the cart, that was brimming with different kinds of apples.

"No problem sis" He responded as he hugged her back tightly.

Riposte, standing right behind Honeycrisp at this point, waited awkwardly for them to split. Noticing this rather quickly Twiggy looked straight at him and let go of his sister.

"Twiggy, this is prince Riposte, he walked me here from the castle" Honeycrisp smiled as she introduced them to eachother. "Riposte this is my brother, Black Twig Apple"

Riposte scoffed as he said "Quite the mouthfull isn't it?"

Twiggy snorted out a sharp "Maybe yours just on the short side"

"Oh brother, always cracking jokes" Honeycrisp laughed.

As she closed her eyes while doing so Twiggy scowled at the pink sparkling stallion behind his dear baby sister. He knew what he was up too, and he didn't like it one bit.
With a face that said "Hoofs off my sister, or else" Riposte's face scrunched up and he grimaced at the threatening glare. He straigthened his stance and puffed out his chest as to say "Oh yeah, and what are you going to do?"
It all happened in mere seconds and as soon as Honey opened her eyes again Twiggy once again smiled at her like nothing happened.

"Well nice meeting you. Now take those up to the castle and the two of us can take that detour I was talking about earlier." Riposte said and looked down at Honey.

She lit up and nodded.

"Yeah we'll meet ya at the castle brother! It's just up this road, you can't miss it!"

She barely had time to say those last words as she got guided by the prince down the street of some small shops. After only a few meters he placed a hoof over her "shoulder". He glanced back at the furious stallion standing at the train station and gave him a quick wink before the two of them disapeared amongst the houses.

Twiggy is protective of his sister, and he knows a sleaseball when he sees one.
Honey stop being so easily manipulated, geez. You're just gonna get you heart broken acting like this.

Yeeeeeah i'm imagining Riposte as this giant, womanizing, asshole. Using his royal status to his advantage.

Also, Honeycrisp works as a royal chef in the Canterlot kitchen. Serving queen Celestia and queen Luna (plus their respective children and whatever guests are over)

I'm also slightly introducing my head canon that anyone who has had a crystaling is officially a crystal pony, with a bond to the crystal heart and stuff. That's why Riposte can get sparkly by his own stupid pride xD
