EDIT: Changed a few minor details like the rings and background colorsPS: I have a feeling a lot of you will wonder this; yes that is Fleur and yes she's a changeling. She works as a body guard and spy of sorts. No one except Fancy, Celestia and Luna know about her changeling side. Fancy and Fleur chose to use a surrogate since they themselves couldn't have a foal together biologically.
I seem to have a habbit of throwing things out when I don't have energy or time to write proper about them... I just really want to upload things when the whole drawing part is done ya know.
Anyway this is a snippet of Trixie's family tree
Red = Romantic relationship
Orange = Surrogacy/donor
Pink = Unrequited love
Blue = Adoption
Green = Siblings
Ring = Married
Heart = Love
Sorry I haven't written much on anything lately. I draw whenever I take a break from schoolwork and writing isn't all that relaxing for me so it becomes rather challenging to write fiction when i'm taking a break from schoolwork. Hopefully things will change soon when we get our summer vaccation.

I haven't read that fic.
I got the idea from some comic pages (not sure if its from an official mlp comic but it looked like it) I found while googling for Fancy and Fleur references a long time ago. In it she was Fancy's body guard and fought of a changeling that was insinuating she might also be one. I thought the concept was kinda neat so I made it canon to my verse.

Oh wait time out. Sorry, got confused for a moment there since I thought this was a pandoraverse family tree. The way you did it is exactly like her's. Style and all. Not saying you're not allowed to make your own tree it's just the layout and such. But who knows, maybe you were both inspired by someone else who did their tree like this. I only say all this because I saw how you made two of them brother's when lop has them as romantic interest and that's what caught me off guard. Also Fleur being a changling... yeah I don't know all that much about your universe. Nicely drawn though.

The layout of having different rows with headshots that branches out and connects with different colored lines and stuff is usually how everyone does these family trees. I will admit that the background colors and the rings did take inspiration from hers (the grey scale was the only thing that seemed to fit that wouldn't clash too much with the rest of the colors going on)

Trixie was a surrogate for Fancy Pants and Fleur de Lis son Yacht Club, were Fancy acted as a donor.
Moxie was concieved with the help of a gender swap spell that Twilight and Starlight helped Trixie and Tempest with.

That's a pretty cool idea making Gladmane related to Jack Pot. Also, Fleur being a changeling in disquise is really clever! You know, I wish they did more with the changelings being able to disguise themselves in the show, like having deep undercover agents who might possibly have gone native. Anyway, nice family tree! Looking forward to the next one!

Ahh this is wonderful!!! I always adore these family trees, and this one is so amazing! You always create something entirely new and unique, putting your own spin on things. I love the Fleur changeling idea and absolutely love how you've set up Trixie's family! Her mother is drop dead gorgeous - I hope we get to hear more about your take on her at some point!

It would be interesting if Gladmane used to be a (somewhat) decent pony until his brother got together with the mare he loved and then when she died he just threw in the towel and just started to look out for number 1 (himself).

What does the difference in hearts mean? For Fleur and Fancy, its smaller than Tempest and Trixie.

Yeah I got the heart and ring idea from Lop, but they got the portrait idea from me so I'd say we're even haha.
The smaller heart is meant to represent that their bond isnt as strong as Tempest and Trixie even if they still love eachother
