Description
I moved on from doing two of the Avengers to focusing on my favourite Marvel villain, Magneto. I had a little trouble in this one because unlike Thor and Iron Man, Magneto had a fairly simple costume. I kept things smooth and simple and applied shadings to make the art pop out a little more. Also added the "magnetic effects" to give more life to the drawing. I didn't know what colour to use but pink matched with the other colours the most so I opted for that.

I think I'm improving little by little with every drawing I come up with, and with this one I really enjoyed learning how to do the shadings on a simple yet muscular body, as well as the details on his helmet and of course the pretty energy manifestations on his hands.

UPDATEv2: Magneto here has been looking really outdated as compared to my other pieces, so I went back and re-worked on him the same way I did for Iron Man and Rogue. I fixed up his colour scheme, giving him a more vibrant color set, as well as streamlining the shading and the intricate details of his costume. I fixed up his body proportions too to make them look more natural, and I fixed his cape as well. I'm pleased with what I've come up with here and he's finally looking up to par with the rest of my pieces! Magnetic Tempest!!
