Tried my hand in drawing a female character for a change. I'm not very good at drawing females so it was really testy for me. I picked Rogue first because she's my favourite female Marvel character, and I think I did enough justice to the character with this piece.

I had lots of trouble with her face and hair because I'm too used to masculine faces, but I love how her eyes and lips turned out, with a smile to show her happy-go-lucky personality. I fashioned her hair from her X-Men Evo hairstyle, and added a ponytail since that's how she wears her hair nowadays.

It was a toss up between her classic Jim Lee 90's costume and her modern Legacy duds, and I chose the latter because I love how it looks on her. I have lots to improve on in drawing, especially on females but I think I'm slowly getting better at it! Hope you guys like her!

UPDATE: As one of my oldest pieces, I figured Rogue here needed a much needed update, and the one thing that always bothered me was her face. I noticed how distorted and strange it looked, so I put lots of work into it and making her prettier, and I guess I've come a long way since first drawing her back last November 2011.

I also fixed up her hair, making it look much more natural as its being swept away as she flies, and added a little more details and extra shading in there to make her fit in better with my newer pieces, hopefully you all notice the difference and agree its a huge improvement over the old one!
