first of all , this is a very good painting.
The two things I do not like is first the bleached out color, I just feel that the color is bit desaturated and second the over emphasis on the texture, especially in the upper left corner it bothers me a bit, it is like you stamp an entire texture over the entire surface of the painting.
Still I cannot but envy your skill...
8/10

Still I have to say that I love the atmosphere, how small the human looks inside the vastness of nature (=cave).
Afterall I love caves , there is something so mystical about them , I wish I could illustrate as good as you can here. And we have many caves in my country (afterall 95% of Hellas is mountains)
I also like very much how you capture the bounce of light on the Caves Texture and complex geometry , especially near the entrance, it adds alot of realism on your painting.

Well in case you need an inspiration , on of our best caves, is DIROS CAVE, which a 6,5 km long complex of save tunnels , some of them are underwater and some if is partialy underwater making access only by boat. The water is so crystal clear that what it look like 5 meters deep is 30 meters.
This a small video sample of the beauty of this cave.

Yeah I have visited it (15 years ago more or less )and it look 10 times better than it does in this video. For strange reason I could not find good photos and videos for this cave.
The reason why everything looks like it is made by wax is the fact that most of the cave is underwater , probably something to do with the fact that this happended rather recently .
Any way , I wish I had some photos to show you, there was this chamber that was huge like the one you depict in your painting, it was called "throne chamber" if I recall correctly , you would love the rock formations there there were Huge and amazing sculptures.
Probably I will revisit it again and take some photos and show it here (if photos allowed, the flash of the camera is considered harmful for the rock formations)

this is as good or better than the tomb raider concept art. you could absolutely have a career doing this if you wanted it.

Did you intentionally create a face off center left when viewed?
I think the colors are perfect for a cave that large and with the sun beaming into it. I at first thought it was a photo, till I read your comments. ( total time elapsed; 2seconds. )
Regardless of intent, I think it is awesome.
