well.. this image took me about 4 days to finish.. 4 days of repainting it, leaving it for 5 hours, coming back for one etc..i really believe this one taught me a lot and you can see quite a progress if you ever saw my earlier pieces.. not to mention i don't really like painting guys and here are four of them, lol.
anyway. this is a commissioned piece showing few characters from an upcoming rpg game.
sketched in pencil first, coloured in painter 7 and photoshop 7. no direct references were used for this pic which i'm really fond of, even though the pic got lots of minor mistakes. i only looked up some references for armor and male torso.

Pretty good deviation all around. The soft details really give this piece a nice feel to it- something close to an oil painting, perhaps. Some parts still feel as if they transition too quickly, however, but that might be me being far too obsessive. However, the two males feel a bit flat in this picture, most likely because of the muted colors on them (sans for the middle character's emblems). I noticed the glowing effect on the dwarf-esque and goblin/pirate-esque characters, and I think adding just a bit of the same glow to the characters standing behind, maybe even some shadows being cast, this would really help this picture "pop."
Still, these are just critiques/suggestions so take them or leave them. I hope your employer enjoys your work.

This is definitely upping the ante on your skills! Beautiful work on the costumes, the lighting, everything! I especially like the girl's costume and the evil lookin' dwarf with the bomb!

ale się ludzie czepiają ; P Krasnolud wyglada jak krasnolud, nie jak Gimli XD strasznie fajny gnom, ale najfajniej wyszła kobieta moim skromnym zdaniem XD chociaz ten rycerz też *o* no i gnamo z krasnoludem... w ogóle się udało XD

err.. how can he look like a witch O.o a female one too O.o;; i hoped the facial features are quite male.. not to mention that he's got no breasts :> anyway. it's a he. and he's a gnome, they're a bit specific in the system for which the illustration is.
