Ack, forgive me the sloppy background™ and the horrible anatomical blunders™, I was just happy to play with Photoshop again, slowly reclaiming my sanity. One exam survived, three more to go.

I love the smoke effect.. its really something you'd hate to meet in the night.. even adding a few lines to the black background could give it more character.. You know like darkened out buildings and stuff.

this is beautiful, even if its a "sketch" XD and the sparklyness does not take away from the evil look, it makes the creature look more wicked tho XD

I know it's a sketch but can I suggest next time you do a low contrast pic like this, to add counterlighting, just to bring out the main subject (the creature itself in this case here) out a bit more ... in this pic id say the counterlighting would be aqua green, to go with the dark blue. I say this because wow this pic is so kick ass, with a bit more of lighting it would really bring it out :3

Mhhm, it doesn't have a light source to begin with, I would've usually add highlights to fix that...or play with levels to adjust the contrast. But in the end, I liked the way the eye stood out, and I didn't want to butcher it with even more sparkliness. XD

I just realized it's fracking dark, my eyes must've been fried last night. XD

it is dark but for some odd reason i can see it lol, its good the way it is, its not too dark to the point u can see any features D:

sometimes u dont need a lightsource, the dark background can be somewhat the source to the light XD well thats a coloring style i suppose. But its not your style. No worries, was just making a suggestion >3, u did a good job letting the eye stand out XD
