kind of original, but not really - i had *great* fun doing it, so i'm posting it and nyaaaah to the derivativeness of it all!this months ITA has a feature on a tattooist named cody meyer. I absolutely adore his work and have regressed into fan-girl-dom. the only internet action i can find for this guy is on his my-space, so google him if you like and do that kind of internet -thang.
apologies for the crappy flash glare on the heavily inked areas around the mouth. i wanted them super-duper black, so used my indian ink. makes it go all shiny in the flash glare..

sorry, i normally say! this is watercolour, acrylic ink & indian ink on 320gsm watercolour paper. it's 1/2 way between A3 and A2. (am at work, so can't measure it! )

Johnny is not only talented but hes sooo nice too! So many guys out there are total dicks, you'll tell them you like their stuff and they don't even seem to care. I think his art shines with his personality as well as talent and to me thats an amazing combination!
