I did cheat a little with this one. I was investigating the colour picker in my sketchbook pro app. All my digital drawings have been done using my finger until recently when i finally got a tablet pen, woo!
Here I was just seeing how life-like I could get

if youre using sketch book pro, there's a litle 'dot' in the bottom centre of the main screen. if you click on that two menus will come up. the one on the right has what looks like a pippette. thats the colour picker

Oh thank you! Β The other question I have is, where do I need to look to save the image As, say png, Β etcetera.?

im yet to find that myself, most pictures are saved onto your photo library according to pixel size. the folks who made the app though are very good at responding with those sorts of questions. just make sure you have at least 1GB space available for the larger images else it can cause a few issues with the layering and speed of the app.
