Maybe try just barely touching the tissue to the polish or trying a softer tissue. You could also try a sponge or let the polish dry a little more before blotting. Hope that helps!

Wow! This is super lovely!
It seems as though you are doing a horrible job
on painting your nails, but it really is something
after you are done~
I'd like to try this out sometime soon~
A quick question.. Does this technique work on
other colours as well?

It's pretty, but it doesn't at ALL remind me of a peacock. Those are green and blue.

Thank you! It's actually based on Bornite stone which is sometimes nicknamed peacock stone. They are generally blue, purple and pink sometimes with shots of gold, here's an example: [link]

1st layer needs to be dry right?

It doesn't have to be very dry but it depends on how many layers of other colours you want to add over the top and how opaque those colours are. I like to do mine while it's still quite wet so it mixes into the other colours. It basically just needs to be opaque by the end ^_^

Oh no! Maybe try a thicker polish or wait until it's half dry then just dab very lightly, it should take some of the polish off so you can see the layer below it but not all ^_^
