Transformers aren't the only thing I collect. Here, you can see most of my Care Bears collection. I have vintage 1980's Care Bears, carnival prizes, Wal-mart editions, Hallmark 2000's editions, mini Care Bear Cousins, and all five of the 25th anniversiry collectors editions, with silver noses and crystal eyes. I also have about 10 more in St. Catharines, where I go to school.My very favourite, however, is still my Friend Bear, the peach-coloured, well loved vintage Care Bear at the front of the gaggle. I've had her ever since I was a baby; Care Bears, coincidently, have been around for as long as I have, for 25 years. I used to carry Friend Bear around with me when I was little, even to my kindergarten class, where my teacher set up a little coat hook for her. (Linus from Peanuts would be proud) I don't carry her around anymore, obviously, but I do take her with me whenever I take a trip, for old times sake. This Bear has been to Winnipeg umpteen times, England and Scotland, Amsterdam, and will come with me to Florida later this winter.
Also included in this pic is one tortured Decepticon, who, in his words, has been sent to "the special kind of Pit". See if you can spot him!

The purple raccoon is named Bright Heart, and he's my only vintage Care Bear Cousin. Apparently he's one of the most sought-after as well, so I'm lucky to have him.

Bright Heart! He was always my fave and I just saw him when I was home for Christmas. I'll have to bring him to my house to all the Star Wars and Transformers goodness!

Oh My Gawd! That is amazing! Even if this isn't the full collection, this is still wickedly impressive! I even showed my Ma this and she completely flipped out. Very awesome! Some day they may take over the whole bed, and perhaps start an intergalactic war with the TFs. [God forbid the Care Bears win.]

They're totally badass! Matt Moylan shows the true nature of the Care Bears in that strip! Evil buggers, trying to take over the owrld with their love and Care Bear Stares! The TFs don't stand a chance!

The thing is, the Care Bear Stare only works on people (or bots) who are already uncaring. It forces them to acknowledge their feelings and show empathy. (yes, I'm that big of a nerd to know that)
I hate to say it, but while my poor Decepticons wouldn't stand snowball's chance in hell, Optimus, with his "Freedom for all Sentient beings" motif, may just be able to defeat them.

You admit to being a nerb like that's a bad thing! Nerds are the most awesome people on the face of the planet! They're ten times better than any other person, and a billion times more interesting than anyone else on the planet! (I should know, I've been a nerd with an ego for as long as I can remember 
You should do a pic of the Bots facing off with the Bears! Optimus going head-to-head with Brave Heart or something! Or Hugs & Tugs battling it out with the Twins! That would be awesome!
