My Silver sculpture for this year!I did one sculpture of him back in 08, one in 09, so I figured I'd do one now for comparison.

This is Silver's serious face. I love how all fan art done of him has him looking like a complete badass, but in all the games I've seen him in he strikes me as a total dork. Oh well, still my favorite official character.
The glowing blue part of the base was made with three wireless LED lights, tinted blue using a thin layer of liquid sculpey mixed with blue oil paint. First time I've used liquid sculpey or LED lights in a sculpture.
All I can think about when I look at the base is that it looks like something from Starcraft (Protosslol).
Next time, I'll make a Blaze the Cat lighter!

do you just use colored baking clay or do you paint it?

How large is this? The craftsmanship is very impressive, I love the addition of the tinted blue LED light...D: I've never heard of liquid sculpey before...

Thanks! Overall, it's about eight inches, silver is six and the base is two.

Not carved! It's sculpted. I mold the pieces out of Super Sculpey.

It's a type of polymer clay. It's more like plastic than clay, and hardens in a basic home oven when you're done sculpting it.
