my first attempt to a cityscape,.. wanted to do this since the first time i opened c4dand i was thinking if i had the skills so i just tryed it ^^
the TV-dish is from sxc.hu
no i donno wath the caracters mean XD just putted them there cause they looked better as western

i disagree,.. take foor example the 'neon-boards' the arnt connected to the buildings,..
the perspective isnt correct everywhere,.. =/

I'm not saying there is nothing wrong with your modeling, but simply that what you have accomplished impresses me. But maybe I'm not a good judge. My modeling skills stink. All I have is Bryce, and it's a bear to model anything in. I pretty much gave up and turned to other pursuits.

ah vire for a first try at making cityscape....im impressed...like the 2 big ones on the right side...those has more nice clear details...thou ya can still see some crookedness in the buildings..but still u did a very nice job of putting this whole thing together..and maybe just maybe if ya use a little bit of a lighter bg it would help bring the buildings into focus...but the darkness adds a mysterious and Finaly fantasy game like mood to your image...good job i say

First of all I hate the rain effect. now the whole atmosphere reminds me so bad of FF7 , the reactor to be spesific
You could try adding neon glow to the kanji though

make new layer fill it
add noise with some pretty high number
bigger curvus or contrast motion blur it
sharpen it twice and put the layer on screen
with a oppisite from about 30%
