I've always wonderedwhy Rapunzel never styled her hair in the movie. You'd think, having nothing else to do all day, and the complications given by having 75 feet of hair, would give her some incentive to put it up sometimes.
But the braid scene made it clear she's never even considered the option before. 
She's gorgeous, I love it.
