My redesign concept of Mokap from Mortal Kombat.This was originally done for a contest on Deviant Art in the #MK-Rebirth group:, "Love for the Unloved". Members were given a list of unpopular characters with the mandate to create. As I am returning to DA with a new account, I figured I'd post it again.
Mokap (IMO) had one of the most boring costumes in MK history.
I tried to make Mokap's costume better, combining elements from various motion capture suits and wetsuits.
I still don't like Mokap, but hopefully you'll find him a little more interesting now

well I have always thought of it this way; Mokap was a friend of Johnny Cage...according to the very small amount of story he had...he was a motion capture martial art guy...so why couldn't they have given him a real name....like Max or something...said mokap was his codename and then said that the Outerworld Investigation Agency (Sonya, Jax etc...) created a high tech suit for him that enables him to shoot balls of light and blinding flashes and stuff like that. I mean that would have been a cool story IMO...and it would mean another good guy...instead of stupid joke character...sometimes I feel like i have better ideas than Netherealm does...and half the time they just get bored and say "right...anyone want to restart the timeline again?"
