About: This is about the aching and longing to be with the one I love after 44 months and counting. I found Rich here on DA almost 4 years ago. And I have been blissfully happy ever since

This has to be one of my favorites of your work. I can relate to it completely. I understand exactly how it feels to want to be with someone who is out of reach because of one thing or another. It hurts in ways that are difficult to put into words. Many of my poems have been inspired by a personal situation I have dealt with myself, on and off, for a few years already. Fate brings you people who touch your life..but sometimes, fate is cruel and doesn't let you have what your heart truly needs. Love is complicated as hell. Saying you love someone and hearing it said back in reply is one of the most amazing things in the universe. It just needs to come with instructions that aren't so hard to understand.

It sure is sweetheart ... and it hasn't been easy ... but we are incredibly dedicated to the other. But night after night, I dream of being held and going to sleep in his arms, and I can't sleep sometimes .... sometimes I have to put an IPOD on listening to his voice recordings just to be able to sleep.

Nope not yet, I am working on trying to get down there sometime this summer, just trying to get everything together. It has been hard on both of us, but we are still hanging in there.

Before dA I had never had much contact with people over the net (other than emails with people that I had met) and I could never understand how anyone could develop a relationship with someone that they hadn't met. I totally understand now as I have made some wonderful friends since joining dA. Some I have met in person and they are just the same in person as they are on-line.

We stay relatively close together as we can, we only are not in contact when we sleep. I have met people from online too in real life and only out of those two turned out to be nutcases. DA has the greatest people, I am closer to my "DA Family" here than most of my friends here locally. I am so glad you will be meeting Steve and Linley

I am really looking forward to meeting them. They are only reason that we will be traveling all the way over there. I feel a lot closer to Steve than I do to most other people and we get on like a house on fire
