I love orchids, they're my and my mum's favourite flower.
My mum has three growing in pots, big white and purply pink ones. She got them as gifts when I was fairly young and they've bloomed every year since.

This is a lovely shot, it kind of grabs you and says 'HEY, LOOK AT ME, I'M PRETTY AND COLOURFUL.' In a good way of course. And it's a really nice orchid too.

Hope you don't mind, but may I use this as a reference for part of a picture I'm drawing?

i like the fact that orchid 2 has the dark green in the background of the wiggly bit, because it makes it stand out and whatnot, but i like this much more. I dont like the framing of the other one, it looks a bit random. I really like how this one shoves the wiggly bit in your face and says LOOK at the prittiful colours!
