Liar
Yes, Kiro is actually a pathological liar. Everything he says to mares and others, though seemingly sincere, is all a lie to keep up his facade and make it appear as if he really feels the things he says. He uses his lies as a barrier to keep people from hating him because most of the time he convinces even himself of the lies he tells, wishing they were true.

Thief
Being a loner has proved to be difficult for Kiro and life events have caused him to steal from almost everyone he meets. He will charm others into believing he is pure and sincere with a good heart so no one will ever suspect him and keep a close eye onm their valuables around him. That is, untill the next morning when all their possessions are long gone along with the 'oh so kind stranger', He will often lurk in the shadows just to see their reactions though.

Callous
Beneath his warm smile, his heart feels empty. His mannerisms and charms are mostly pre-rehearsed lines and body-language he has used for such a long time it has become like second-nature to him. In the presence of others he is like a robot, trying to please those around him, but as soon as he is alone he becomes cold and withdrawn.

Heartless
Kiro feels no emotions. If he does it's usually anger or pride and it never lasts for longer than a few minutes. Empathy? he has none. Love? He doesn't even think it's possible. He cares about himself and only slightly for those he calls family but only barely.

Foalhood

As a young colt, Kiro grew up in the Exile herd born from an Ex-Olde Knight and a Loner mare who decided to move back there before he was born. He was sweet, caring and innocent at first but that didn't take long to change. Once he was fully capable of walking and running, his father would never let him be a colt or play with the other children. No, he had other plans. Kiro would later understand that Kona had vengeful thoughts towards the leader of Olde and planned to train Kiro as an assassin to get a hold on his throne. His father would train him every single day for four years in many different fighting tactics and push him to his limits until he could go no more. This would only result in beating after beating should he collapse or refuse. His mother being too sick and weak to ever do anything about it and being around Kona for so long, who was a respected elder in the herd, her accusations of what her husband was doing to her child in secret made them deem her as insane and hold her opinion or words of no value. Just the ramblings of a crazy mare. So much so she began to believe them, and started to form a very twisted image of her husband. She believe he was doing everything for the greater good and only loved him more every day, blinded by her new found mental illness caused by years of suffering.
At the age of four, Kiro escaped on the narrowly closing landbridge after finding out his mother had "commited suicide" and he believed the truth was that his father had murdered her.
He spent many of his childhood years either following the witch BaYagu from a narrow distance to discover the other islands or hidden in secret locations.

Teenage Years

Many thought that the young Exile colt would never last a day as a loner, being one of the youngest to roam chevalin by himself in the history of the lands. However, not having a real childhood had had a significant impact on Kiro's maturity and as it turned out, his old man had tought him all the skills he needed to run away from him, However, when he received word of his father having passed he returned to the Southern Isle to see for himself. This is when he met a young, lively little filly named Aralynne. Though the rumours of his father's death had proved untrue, there was something he did find that day. Though he would never admit it now, it was the day he met his first love. Many days he would return from his travels to spend time with this quirky little pale filly who seemingly wouldn't take no for an answer, they quickly became good friends despite Kiro's cold and aloof demeanor. When they were a little more grown, she would continue to ask him to be his mate and he would be persistent in turning her down. It wasn't so much because he didn't care for her, but because he wanted to see her reactions, or the point where she would break. She never did. He finally agreed after a long time and for a short while, they shared a life together in secret despite being so young.
Little did she know, only a week after agreeing to be her partner, Kiro had a faithful encounter with a thieving mare that was nothing short of a demon. Not the devil herself, he would later agree after actually meeting the spawn of satan but a demon nonetheless. After Sira the thief had lured Kiro into a dangerous situation, her mate and her threatened him into doing their dirty work and if he did not agree they would kill both him and the precious little pail mare they had seen him with so often. This was something that tore Kiro apart, knowing that only because of him were others in danger too. One night, he tried to convince them he had nothing with the mare and he could care less if she died but they brought forward the notion that if he really didn't care he would very easily break her heart without a second thought. They told him to leave her waiting for his return that would never happen, let her rot in her own misery and only then would they believe him. So he did. Kiro disappeared from Aralynne's life.

Young Adult

Having spent years with the two thieves, learning their ways and turning him into the heartless conceited machine of a soldier his father always wanted him to be Kiro had become significantly emotionless. Numb, twisted and filled with jelousy of other's happiness. His suffering was so great with inner turmoils he needed to see others suffer too. He felt no other emotions than anger, annoyance and even jealousy faded over time. He was incapable of feeling empathy or sympathy for others but simply observed them experiencing emotions he could no longer feel. Love, sadness, joy, excitement. He felt nothing. He simply didn't care, so deep in a dark depression it had numbed him to the core and it seemed irreversible.
With this new found detachment he found there was one thing he needed to do and that was return to the southern isle and face his father.
It was then that he really did meet the spawn of satan, his sister Rika.
He was confronted with the fact that not only had his mother not died, she had bore a child in his absence and Kona had held her captive somewhere unbeknownst to the rest of the herd. In the midst of a thunderstorm, Kiro had not only confronted his father but his psychopathic sister too who escaped along with his secret the very next day.

When in reality they needed him for their dirty work and threatened to kill him if he didn't obey. It was because of them that Kiro became a thief and learned all their ways.

Rika:
Kiro's psychopath sister, a lot yet to be revealed about her and their past.

Kona:
Kiro's abusive father who used to be an advisor in his late years in old, being promoted from the knight he was for many years. While in Olde, he met Miyra in their younger years and truly fell in love with her. That was until Kona committed a great crime towards Olde, saying it was in the herd's best interest by snaking behind the King's back and advising him wrongly. They were both exiled and winded back on their birth land, the SOuthern Island.

Miyra:
Once a young loner married into Olde, Miyra was also born on the Southern Island. She was claimed insane after her accusations towards her mate when they returned to Exiles and eventually actually acquired a mental illness.

Delilah is definitely one of Kiro's favourite ladies. He will often go visit her in the shadows on the days that he visits Cain and every encounter with her is rewarding in some way. He finds her to be quite magnificent in his own way. Though, it has led to some, two, not so desired results.

A bachelor stallion Kiro has definitely taken an interest in. He has a certain vibe that appeals to the loner and he's definitely looking to "get to know him better"

A stubborn mule with a gorgeous physique. Kiro's mortal sin who has become a little bit of an enticing addiction to him. No matter how she frustrates him endlessly, there's something about her Kiro can't stay away from.

Aralynne RusticLass
Kiro's childhood friend and first relationship as a youngster. He was forced to abandon her by a band of thieves that held him under their command. Somewhere deep down, he truly cared for her. These days, he does his best to keep up his douchebaggery façade in front of her sometimes instead of his charming one in the hope that she'll keep believing it was his choice to leave her. He wants her to believe this so that she doesn't get any false hope that who he used to be is the same as who he is now.
