To say it takes a long time for Zoltan to lose his cool is an understatement. He is very even tempered and can seem eerily calm most of the time. The only thing that can really get under his skin is too much change as he is set in the old ways of Glenmore.

This stag really knows how to manipulate others to get what he wants, and finds it an interesting challenge to do so.
| Fatherly |
Despite his stoic ways there is something Zoltan cares about more than himself, and that's his children and family. Surprisingly the only warmth coming off this stag is directed at his fawns/younger siblings and he invests a lot of time in making sure they grow up to be traditional glenmores and are ready for when they have to venture out on his own. He feels his reputation also depends on his children's behavior so he is strict with their upbringing but not unkind.
| Brave + Protective |
If anything, this lord is a very brave one. He has a lion's heart when it comes to fights or any dangerous situation and this makes him a tough warrior and opponent. It's rare for him to stand down from a fight unless he literally can no longer stand.
| Menacing |
His unawavering calm temper can seem menacing at times where any other fawnling would burst out into anger. It makes it seem as if, once he is pushed past his patience, an angry outburst will be the least of their troubles.
| Condescending |
Zoltan greatly looks down commoners. He refuses to even grant a commoner stag his time of day, though he understands they serve a purpose but that is all. He will only ever interact with his Glade staff in a professional manner and won't hesitate to put them in their place. Though, he is a little more lenient with does who he sees as more fragile.
Needless to say, if you are from a different herd it would be best to steer clear of this stag as he finds any fawnling that practices a different religion is simply moronic.
| Charming |
To those he does speak to, and tolerate, Zoltan can actually be very charming and warm. If he takes a genuine liking towards an individual, they should consider themselves very lucky. There is definitely many sides to Zoltan and this particular one he rarely shows but is definitely his greatest asset. He is a very warm and loving individual on the inside, and it shines through in the way he treats those he loves.
History

Age 0-4 (Years 746-750 of the New Age)
Fawnhood
Born in the same year as King Drustan, Zoltan was unaware of the rumours that had surrounded his father King Ragnar before that. Though slowly as he starts to grow, he hears the stories from his parents and surrounding royals of all the events that occured before his birth. As a buck, he looked up to the Prince immensely being young and naive but he found it incredibly strange that one day such an ugly stag would possibly become king. He looked small and scrawny and he couldnt imagine him ever growing into the muscles all the full grown stags seemed to have. (MORE INFO ON HIS FAMILY COMING SOON)
Age 5-10 (Years 751-756 of the New Age)
Growing Up
Being a little wiser, Zoltan was actively able to understand everything that had been going on with the herd. Three Princesses go missing in the span of 2 years and his growing mind finds this incredibly suspicious. After all, the princesses were the best guarded does of the kingdom... Right? He instantly blamed the guards for not doing their job properly and finds them pathetic and weak. For a short while, he considers joining them to straighten out this weakness but decides against it. He finds it unimaginable to lose his title as a Lord even though the respect he would get from demoting himself to Royal Guard was tempting.
In year 753 of the new age, Zoltan's faith in the herd's bravery is restored when Lord Morag sacrifices himself to rescue the Princesses. However, after finding out Princess Anastasia's mother was tainted Zoltan was disgusted. For an honourable lord to have given his life to return a worthless princess and her demon half blood son was unthinkable. The princess didnt deserve to be saved if she didnt leave that filth of an offspring in Blackwood where it belonged.
What's more, three years later Princess Dusk returns and Lord Zoltan instantly feels a deep disgust towards her that she would dare show her face there again after being gone from Glenmore for so long. He didn't care what had happened in the time she had been gone, in his eyes she had betrayed the Kingdom just as much as Princess Anastasia had.
Perhaps the most influential event in Zoltan's history, occurs at age eight. Year 754 of the New Age, he begins to see more and more of a certain hoofmaiden his friend had employed. She is pale, lovely and witty... If a little tall. Nevertheless, in all his youthful ambition he wanted to have more does in his harem, and would settle for commoner born if it meant that it would make him seem less undesirable. So, he wooed her and soon enough she joined his harem.
In the summer of 755, she bore him a handsome blood red bay son and they called him Azrael.
Age 11-14 (Years 757-760 of the New Age)
Adulthood
At 11 years of age, Zoltan's mind is sent into a whirl with the events that occur in his kingdom. Yet another Princess flees, murders, royals stripped of their title, children of the former crown prince attempting to kidnap the princesses of Aillite's precious bloodline, King Ragnar's sudden death and what's worst a pale flimsy excuse for a stag, Drustan, is named king! Zoltan's respect for the prince had deteriorated instantly the moment he became King. He had never thought it would happen that there was nobody other than that pathetic and soft stag to take the crown!
As years go on, this lord's growing hatred for the King becomes so deep rooted with every political move he makes that it turns to loathing. King drustan proves time and time again that he is unfit for the position as he attempts to twist Glenmore into a herd of chaos that has an allergy for the law! He thinks it's only a matter of time that this once honourable and devout herd falls into a reckless, uneducated, and murderous bunch of outlaws worse than even the most ruthless fawntaker!
Year 758, all hell breaks loose. Zoltan blames King Drustan for his dear Lady Evangeline's untimely death when the Great Oak is struck by lightning. He had never told anyone about his strong affection for William's mother, but feels his heart torn apart yet again.
In his time of grief, he draws away from his other harem does. One night, he grows suspicious of the former hoofmaiden Imaira’s comings and goings with their son Azrael by her side. Especially as she refuses a guard, claiming commoners are of little worth to be guarded. He follows her and overhears her talking to a stag in the glenwood, calling him brother. Zoltan’s suspicions only grow until he hears the stag plead her to return to blackwood with her son. This sends Zoltan into a conflicted rage, waiting for the stag to leave before confronting Imaira in the wood. She confesses to being a blackblood and he strikes her in his rage and betrayal. Imaira and Azrael start running and he starts the chase, willing to run them all the way back to blackwood. But he is in pain and not thinking straight, wanting revenge for more than just this.
He chases her straight off of a cliff, and turns to leave his son there begging him to save his mother.
Age 15-16 (Years 761-762 of the New Age)
Prime
As Zoltan is entering his prime, he is feeling a certain aspect of his life is lacking and this makes him feel empty. Developments occur within the herd and he hears from his cousin Lord Rafe about a potential uprising, which he invests in greatly with his support. What's worse, his cousin's nephew Lord Knox manages to steal a doe in his harem and Zoltan feels greatly belittled by this act. A certain resentment grows towards the fellow lord and his pride is incredibly hurt. Therefore, he sets out to become stronger and train alongside his cousin. He had become quite attached to the doe and aims to win her back in the future.
Year 770
- Count Zoltan retires from his position as count, seeing Rafe improving in his leadership and wanting to make way for the next generation of the stone circle to get taught by Rafe's standards. He knows he will always be there to advise his blood brother, and feels that the title had always been a formality for the public eye. Now, he wanted to make way for others to have a chance and to focus on his health, personal matters, and his family.

Mucho bromance, bro of the bros. Even though Lord Zoltan and King Rafe are cousins, they might as well be brothers. They spent their life growing up side by side and, already having one younger brother, Zoltan found himself quickly adopting the young buck as another of his siblings. They share a mutual respect and bond that can't be put into words. Rafe has his undying loyalty right till the very end and often tries to be his stable, calm source of advice.

Being his first younger sibling to be born, Zoltan definitely dotes on his sister. Even now they are both in their prime he still watches over her.

He knows her dark coat makes her less than ideal by Glenmore's standards but to him blood is everything. He's protective over her and tries to make sure she knows that she matters to him.

A strong disappointment... Zoltan cared for his little half brother a great deal but was forced to disown him when he made a grave mistake. He can't afford to lose face and associate with Rhov and therefore prefers to pretend he was never a part of his life.

I would need to see some kind of a profile to get a general idea of the character ^^ especially since Zoltan is a high ranking count who is very traditional and close to the king. He's a very loving father and involved in his children's upbringing so it would be unlikely that any son of his would be unruly so I like to see if it's realistic for characters to be added as his family
