Aquila takes after his eagle namesake quite a bit. Inherently fierce by nature, Quil nonetheless isn't particularly confrontational. He is quiet and somewhat withdrawn, much like his father; but if pushed or forced into an undesirable situation, he won't hesitate to shove back tenfold. He is quite grave and solemn, even despite his young age, but he enjoys physical pursuits such as racing and wrestling with other colts. He is extremely competitive and nothing will make him work as hard as being told he can't do something. As far as he's concerned, there's no such thing as impossible – only fawnlings too weak or lazy to work for what they want.

Raised traditionally, Aquila ascribes to the general Glenmore opinions on coat colours and societal positions (though his opinions on colour have since faded since his blinding). He believes does have their place and that stags are charged with caring for and protecting them. While he can appreciate and take into account an intelligent doe's opinions, he has no patience for loud-mouthed does who are abrasive and confrontational without the intellect to back them up.

Appearance: As a fawn, Aquila is on the large side – especially when compared to his tiny twin sister. Despite his young age, he is already strong and well-muscled with a pair of sharp eyes that manage to look directly at you despite their blindness. His expressions are severe at worst and blank at best. He doesn't really smile much, not even around his mother or sister. That being said, he doesn't really frown either, beyond a slight down-turn of the lips when he's thinking or considering something or a grimace when frustrated. His tail is thickly furred and will likely grow more wolfish with age. He also looks set to grow almost as tall as his father, though he is unlikely to become quite as heavily muscled and bulky.
