Faulkner was raised to be a self-confident young buck. He is of good breeding and quite the looker, with his father’s coat and his mother’s curls. He understands his distinct advantage over many other Glenmorians, with his sire being of the king’s line and his mother being a princess.

Backed by his standing and family, he was trained to uphold the traditions of his kingdom, and does so with a measure of pride. Of course there are things he finds more agreeable than others, but as he is still young, his mind is still growing. He believes to the utmost that the laws are for the good of the herd and abhors those who do not uphold them.

Although young and prone to being as wild and immature as other bucks his age, Faulkner is the better behaved of Glenda’s older children. Where his brother is the eldest and quite the socialite, Faulkner shows great attention to the older members of the royals. He can be seen carefully attending each of these relationships, and shows signs of being an adept politician among the rest of the court as he grows older.

Due to his strong footing in the political world, Faulkner is not afraid to throw his weight around, especially when it comes to the well-being of his kin. He is prone to being very protective of those few relatives he has loyalty towards. Woe to any fawnling who thinks they can get away with damage to them. Combining his loyalty and his careful upkeep of relationships, this guy hates being on the bad side of anyone he likes. He's too used to being favored, and what's there not to like???

History:

Faulkner was raised a mama’s boy, much like his older brother. He was incessantly doted upon by Princess Glenda and her myriad of Hoofmaidens as a fawn, and quite enjoyed the attention. And, surprisingly, Faulkner has a heart buried under all those handsome curls. His sister's death and parents' emotional turmoil has made him a very adept sympathizer.

His colthood was fairly normal for a royal. He spent a lot of time with his nanny, Lady Madge, when Glenda needed an extra pair of hooves. When he turned five, he turned to an adolescence with a lot of doting and harmless flirting. As he grew, Faulkner entertained the notion of joining the guard, like his father before him. Yet with the political turmoil, he has respected his mother’s wishes for him to remain under his title as ‘Lord’ for the belief that it will be practical later on.

With the reestablishing of the Great Oak and witnessing first-hand the mass political unrest, Faulkner has withdrawn as much as he can from those who would be considered ‘tree-huggers’ in order to keep face. He’s not sure what to make of Princess Nuala, and is concerned by his mother’s fevered support of her, the Swan Queen’s messenger or no.
