Description Hi guys, I made this drawing of Cate Blanchett from the amazing movie "Carol" from Todd Haynes. I loved the atmosphere of this picture from the movie and the beauty of Cate Blanchett especially in that hair and clothes. My sister thinks she´s ugly... I do not know what is wrong with my sister. :/   Cate has very interesting and beautiful facial features (difficult to draw) don´t you agree ?

You did a fantastic job. Wonderful detailing, texture, and tones. I saw the movie again recently and it's every bit as beautiful and romantic as it was the first time I saw it.

Ooooh wow this is nice!! You absolutely captured her facial features! I especially like how you have drawn her eyes, that looks very realistic!
The whole time I am thinking of watching this movie, because it seems to be very recommendable and it is very hyped. I guess i have to watch it now too, ahahha.

Yeees! That is great, because they especially arouse ones attention, I think.  I really like how defined they are. When I draw traditionally, I am not able to do that

Remember "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Also, there are standars of beauty for each person. I think Cate Blanchett has an exotic beauty, which is sometimes, more noticeable accordig to her performances on screen. There are people like this amazing actress, who have certain facial features that make them interesting. Probably, they're not the most beautiful on earth, but when you take a good look at them, you realize there's something that makes you say "Mmmm... "
By the way, you have captured that special something of the character. Beautiful work as always!

Of course, but most of the time me and my sster have the same taste in basically everything, but we disagreed on this one You are absolutely right It is also about hte character they´re planing, or how they lid the face, like Cate, she can b more maculine or she can be very feminine. It really depends on what the character needs to look like But with specifically Cate´s face, it´s not just the extraordinary cheekbones and beautifuly lined jawbone, but that "exotic" eyes Ok ok, enough of that for now (cause I am getting to oemotional here) Thank you so much for the comment, I am glad you like it and that you thin I captured the "special something about the charecter"

I am blushing all the time, even when I am speaking in school when we share our ideas or something :/ It is very bad for me, caus eI can feel the blood filling my face and then I know I am all red... I am very shy, and I am not so beautiful most of the time, there are days I feel pretty, but not so much .. Thank you still

You are a beautiful lady indeed. Unless you uploaded somebody else' s photo for your profile, that photo looks beautiful enough to me. Even so, the way you express yourself and your art tell me that you are a beautiful person. Believe it ! Of course, there are days when people feel not so atractive, mostly because of what's inside. Troubles in your head, worries, studies, thre are weeks when everything comes together just to make run like a maniac down the street But thank goodness there are people such as family and friends to cheer you up

It's good to know By the way, you should do more selfportraits. There's one photo "Freckled eye" that caught my eye. I always say, freckles are the extra ingredient for the beautiful woman. It's like Mother Nature's secret recipe, the special spice Thank goodness, every day more photographers are taking this feature into account when taking photographs. I also loved "Self-portrait" you made for your grandmother. It's a beautiful work indeed!

I do not use charcoal much It´s cool, but´s it´s messy and each time almost all of it gets off :/
