"Our stop is coming near, do you think you can jump on your own?"

"J-Jump!?" Fara hadn't realized until just then that the freight vehicle they were over, had elevated about a hundred feet over ground level. Nonetheless, Fara stood up the second she saw Fox doing so. A little shiver run up her spine, there were lines of hundreds of landfrees passing beneath them. She even heard sirens and helicopters at the distance, they'd catch them soon if they didn't jump".

"Fara, there's no time!" Shouted Fox, though every sound that came out of his mouth was muffled by the wind that crashed against his face.

Fara didn't have more time to keep thinking, nor answer the question she was asked, for Fox had already taken a run up and just as he was about to jump off, held Fara by her waist, catching Fara by surprise. When she collected herself once again, her feet were touching nothing more than thin air.

"Hold on to me. I promise nothing will happen to you if you do", said Fox in a light but determined whisper into Fara's ear. Fara did as she was told, almost in a state of daydream, she carefully surrounded Fox with both of her arms. In exchange, Fox did the same, holding her tightly against him.

For some strange reason, with this stranger, Fara felt more secure than ever. She closed her eyes and felt the way the wind and the gravity pulled them down. For a second, though, it seemed to her they were flying up instead of falling down.

Thus, with the autumn sun being nothing but a mere spot of light and heat in the zonian sky. Fox and Fara jumped in free fall to the most illuminated void.

Towards freedom".
