Description
Lunarus is a viscious Lycanthrope ( a type of werewolf) warlord a thousand years ago who, in an attempt to cheat his eventual death, crafted a mask in which he placed his spirit. after his death his mask was moved from victim to victim, ensuring that his reign of terror never ended, until a tribe of shamans found a way to remove the mask from its host and lock it away. it has however been released by the latest line of Lycanthropes (who differ from werewolves in that they are smart and cunning instead of primal and often prowl on nights other than the full moon)

Lunarus' current host (pictured) wasnt the origianlly intended. Samara, the werewolf slayer was for a brief period posessed by lunarus' mask until from the help of Artemys Grey (a descendant of the shaman clan) it was removed, but unfortunately taken by a Lycanthrope to find the next best host.

The mask activates on all nights but like all the 'Lycans' it is much stronger on and around the full moon, but as it is active every night the host body is left exhausted during the day and unable to sleep due to the horrifying visions of their nighttime activities while controlled by the spirit of Lunarus.

Lunarus is adept in the use of dual swords, and had his twin swords crafted for him eons ago. they remain as part of the masks enchantment upon the host (as is the armour/costume). When day breaks the armour and swords 'dissolve' into the æther while the mask seems to reform into the hosts face.

Lunarus' current host resides in hiding with a pack of Lycans who during the day, share his troubles of guilt for the previous night as the Lycan virus often causes the creation of a second personality ans well as the physical transformation
