SILVER LADYThe YT-2400 freighter "Silver Lady" looking for rare ores in an asteroid field.
The Star Wars Spaceship ( ©&TM Lucasfilm Ltd. ) stands on a black wooden Stick, removed with photoshop. The spacecraft ( the Outlander from the x-wing tabletopgame), was kitbash, painted and weathering by myself.I am particularly proud of the brass gun barrels.
Scale 1/270
The asteroids are lava stones from an aquarium shop. Black primed and painted gray, with a hole in the middle for the black wooden stick.
I removed the black wooden sticks (Spaceship and Asteroids) with photoshop.
The background is a selfmade painting (1,50 Meter* 1,00 Meter).

Love the design of the YT-2400. It's similar enough to the Millennium Falcon to retain its coolness, but has enough original elements of its own to look like a great design. I'd take the Outrider over the Ghost any day.

One of the fun details about the Star Wars films was the work they put into creating continuity in things like ship designs. Kind of like how you can look at the ARC-170 in the prequels, X-Wings in the OT, and the new X-Wings in the Sequel trilogy and see the design evolution.
