Description
I love multi-legged reptiles, so I wanted to draw a basilisk and a dragon. These 2 groups of reptiles descend from a common ancestor that was similar to Pseudopus apodus, but with paired spikes (legs) along the entire body.
Initially, Sextopodofis had more legs than octopodosaurus, but retained only 6. But these 6 limbs are very strong. They also had the beginnings of feathers.
Octopodosaurs developed “feathers” much later. In cockatrices, only the hind legs are more well developed. The front ones are more like fingers with a tight membrane. Basilisks almost did not change, except that they began to resemble snakes more.
