Things were going well for Volt as a electric type gym leader.

However, Volt has taste defeat by a new trainer who was stronger than to be expected and he was speechless. The new trainer was named Azrael with almost the same looks and lost the bet. Volt had to give up his title as a gym leader only to leave his own region for good to the Alola region where Azrael will meet him there as they will be both new students. They are both rivals now that Volt swore to get revenge on him and to find out what he's really up to.
