Work Congress
The growth trend in strike activity in the past two years, is not questioned even by analysts FNPR. Moreover, according to internal statistics of the largest trade union center in the Russian labor disputes simply multiply exponentially. In all of these workers' protest rallies there, surprisingly, always the same demands: higher wages, better working conditions, collective bargaining, trade union recognition.
Indeed, the growth of the strike movement coincides with the appearance of a huge number of trade-union organizations, and grow in a largely "free" trade unions (not included in the structure of the FNPR). Clearly, the biggest trade union center of Russia - it is also the most "yellow", the most bureaucratized and shtreykbrehersky. However, even within the FNPR not all is quiet. More and more radicalization of trade union committees in the field, especially in the Far East, to the north. Increasingly, the left wing FNPR Left worker councils make levet regional committees, etc. The complicated situation in FITUR and sectoral trade unions - at least with the traditional radical miners and metallurgists (GMPR). Also the structure of the FNPR break inside as a purely bureaucratic squabbling for power, and the squabbling within the "United Russia", which, of course, reflected in the trade union center-controlled. All this contributes to the creation of new primaries.
But do not think that "free" trade unions are insured against such ills - far from it. Moreover, the same process of bureaucratic degeneration and market the device in the prostitution trade union center looks small due to its obviousness and pettiness even nastier. Profbyurokratii isolation from the masses of workers is huge and growing every day. The reason is simple: if the current political and economic instability in the country, each small group of the bourgeoisie denotes catch his interest in the future social cataclysm. Considering the protests of workers as "cannon fodder" for their showdown, the capitalists seek to gain control of the labor movement raises its head, that the easiest thing to do, controlling workers' organizations. As a consequence - the mass of "flattering offers" from the bourgeois parties to profbossam.
The situation is different - the interest of the workers themselves. Even if we take a purely economic interests - in order to pursue their claims, workers need organization, they are bound together in unions. This is good. But, once in the regular trade union center, the workers become hostages of the bourgeois games, which is certainly not in favor of their interests. Fight it can and should be through the development of a single line, common tactics of the labor movement in Russia. All the more so on the economic front, as shown by recent isolated strikes, demands for all of about the same - so it's time to talk not only about the salary increase through any given plant (the more so, as the most recent strike at the "Ford" on one factory the employer has learned to press a protest, because it can combine efforts with other bourgeois and use administrative levers). It's time to raise the issue of raising the general level of wages of workers in Russia, and therefore should not strike the plant, and branches, and speak not with a single employer, but with the state. A conversation with the state - a political conversation, and therefore a single political line of the Russian workers' movement is needed, as the air. There is another reason for the development of a single line and tactics - cutting the democratic rights and freedoms. Even today we do not actually have the right to strike - it recognizes illegal in 99% of cases. Tomorrow we will begin to put a strike, if only we let ourselves.
So, life itself has put before us today, these questions, and their decision to delay - dead. We, the workers of Russia, it is necessary to agree on common requirements, common tactics of the struggle, a single political line. We have to coordinate joint actions needed some organization - a coalition with each other. We need the All-Russian Congress of the workers' organizations.

Comrades! The Conference appealed to all who consider themselves left, who hate the current political regime, who cares about the future of our nation. Red Flag has always stood at the forefront of the struggle for workers' rights against the dictatorship of capitalism. The correct analysis of the situation, a sound approach to dealing with people, determination and steadfastness of action allowed the left-wing forces to achieve such a global success, as the Great October Socialist Revolution, the flames which spread to other countries and continents. However, at the present stage of history the heirs of the October Revolution have largely lost their leading positions.
Why does this happen? You can find lots of reasons: lack of preparedness of the proletariat, the information blockade, stricter by the day of repression, excessive compromise in parliament. However, we must recognize that one of the main enemies of the Left - its fragmentation. The presence of several dozen organizations that call themselves communist and leftist, only confuses people. While the extra-parliamentary left-wing ideological debate about the intricacies and drag each other activists, communist "brand" is actually privatized the Communist Party. Yes, the party still has mass. However, the monopoly of "communism" no good end can not by definition. The lack of real competition on the left flank of the political leads to stagnation and apathy. Place on the forefront of street fighting increasingly occupy the opposition forces of the liberal persuasion. It is unpleasant to realize, but - it's true.
Enough is enough! It's time to change the situation. A necessary first step should be an early association of extra-parliamentary left-wing parties and organizations into a single federation movement - Left Front. Creating such a movement would create an alternative center left politics, create conditions for a friendly competition of ideas and actions that will benefit everyone, including the Communist Party. The union, in our opinion, should be done according to the principle of equality, taking into account the actual mass and activity of some parties and organizations. Should be discarded personal ambitions, old quarrels. It's possible rejection of the old organizational forms and the names of the party - this is not the biggest sacrifice for the common cause. Gardener's not crying about the seeds buried in the ground, reaping the harvest. Overcoming ideological differences may at the time of joint action, or to old age can be considered as a comma from each other, the shame of their teachers.
The union can not be postponed until later on - a full booking. The position of extra-parliamentary left, and so remained almost unnoticed during the presidential and parliamentary elections. It's time to finally meet in a single fist and return to the forefront of the struggle. Those who fell in October 1993 are still waiting for revenge.
We offer all the left parties and organizations in Russia to create a committee to create a single motion and immediately sit down at the negotiating table. Political will, or can be left out of history. We need a Left Front

Interesting stuff, although I must say I'm not pro Nazi or anything, I just have an interest in military history.

Also you mentioned the SS as being the elite force of the German Army. Well, elite they were, although not a part of the Army, they were technically a civilian paramilitary force.

Interesting stuff though.

Nice poster! I've always greatly respected the German armed forces of WW1 and WW2 and the Waffen SS are fasicnating....finest soldiers in the world, at least the premier Germanic divisions (no offence intended to anyone of foreign legion nationality!) were. Can't condone their crimes but I don't see executing prisoners as a crime, but thats just me. Thanks for putting this up!

P.S Interesting fact: the primary school I went to had a coat of arms which was basically the Leibstandarte but with two keys crossed instead of just one key.

KlausVonWolfenstein In reply to Von-Richthofen [2009-03-04 14:08:11 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I am Japanese, and we do have a Self Defence force, just not epic like Israeli's. We have the 6th largest defense budget though. The US bases will probably prove worthwhile in a Invasion of Japan.....

The gun thing, we cant have Firearms, (we can have rifles and such, with extremely strict rules). But because there is almost no guns, we have very very lifelike airsofts and Replica firearms. No red thing at the edge, and so you wont get shot by a cop if you have an airsoft. Personally, Im too cheap to get one XDXDXD In living in USA now anyways.....
