Nice watercolors here! I can't wait to see what this looks like as a final piece.
I was wondering, do you do your black lines afterwards? What do you use?

I am actually using some sepia ink to do all the line work. I wanted to go ahead and ink the lines I liked before going in and painting the pieces that have been finished.
I'm using a crow quill pen to do the line work with sepia ink then go back and paint the areas with windsor and newton watercolors. This is all done on a piece of 140# cold press watercolor paper.
The sepia ink looks very dark but it has a softer, warmer tone than the black ink which come across as having a cooler tone.
Glad you dig it and I will get the finished piece up as soon as I get it done.
