"You CAN teach old dogs new TRICKS"Everyone wants a cute little puppy, because they think they learn faster, are cuter, and there is just an endless amount of excuses to why someone would prefer a puppy. And while they come up with excuses, adult and ederly shelter dogs sit in wait, hoping some special person is willing to save them. Alot of them end up being euthanized, because they are 'unwanted'. And they didnt ask for this, they didnt ask to be abandon at a shelter with no place to go. And more important, they dont deserve it.

MythBusters proved this. Old dogs can learn new tricks. Adopting older dogs has advantages too. Most of the time they are already fixed, vaccinated housebroken, and trained in other ways. For less experienced pet owners who don't have much time; I recommend an older dog.
