I would need some advice about how you manage to get this colours!
About the clichΓ© itself, it's sad you wouldn't have more details on your sky, it makes the up of your pic a bit empty...
The rest is great, you've got a good DOF and the montmartre carousel got wonderful colours (please explain me xD)

Yes, I added the texture mainly because of the emptyness, it's a pitty there aren't clouds or something interesting in the sky.
Hehe, it's not in montmarte I took this so maybe this carousel has just prettier colours?
Nah, I played with curves a lot to get this result, sometimes when I the right tones but it's way to extreme I take the curves and put the opacity on 15% or something, which just changes the tones of the layer under it slightly. But I just played a lot with photoshop to find out what to do to get what result
Only advice I have is not to use the brightness/contrast option but change that with the curves (slight S curve) and stuff like this.
Just play with it, don't be afraid to waste photo's
