Elliesse rolled over in bed, hot and bothered. It was about 4.30am. The nights were hot, and even with the window fully open, Elliesse had trouble sleeping. Beside her lay Ron, sprawled out with bed sheets everywhere but over him.

A sudden shrill cry from the mare's stables caught Eliesse's attention. She quickly drew back the curtain. The yard was quiet...nobody was there.

She woke Ron quickly, much to his dismay.

The woman hurridly heaved on her wellington boots, shoving her pyjama bottom into them, and trotted off the the mares.

Ron huffed after her in his t-shirt and sweat pants.

It was Arrow who had made the fuss, the mare was pacing and looking over her door towards Di's stable. Elleisse and Ron looked over the door quietly.

The white mare was stood licking her newborn foal. A little colt. He was already standing.

"Oh my gosh Ron look, isn't he gorgeous!" Elliesse squeaked quietly.

"He's a li'l beauty." The man smiled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "Wonder who his daddy is..."
