ok, i'll admit i had to look up hieratic but i was thinking the posture was more heroic... doesn't really remind me too much of egyption heiroglyphs... but i don't really know much about such things. he's holding still, standing strong, but it's the lines, the wind blowing through the hair and helmet thing. the lines of his top... gives it motion and presence... i hope that makes sense.
