It's actually fairly easy to draw a feminine face for Hahli's mustache-mask. Too bad I only found out how after completing her head, and I had to go back and redraw it.Matoro was a late addition. I originally wanted to draw Vezok there, but I abandoned the idea for a couple of reasons:
- I haven't drawn Matoro Inika yet
- I have drawn more than enough Skakdi
- In his spirit form, I don't need to design and draw a full body
So there. A shoe and Matoro... erm, I mean Hahli and Matoro.
NOTE: It is fully accidental that Hahli's torso looks like a penis.

Heh, the irony of all those people saying that Hahli's mask looks like it has a mustache is that it's actually an oxygen breather tube (which you rendered quite nicely, by the way.) Β Though that doesn't make it any less disconcerting to picture; instead of a woman with a mustache, she's now a COPD patient.Β

Finally! Someone who realizes that Hahli's mask is workable!
And anyway, this is a great concept, even if Matoro wasn't originally going to be in it. Even if it's a friend, there's nothing like a ghost-man suddenly appearing to send shivers down your spine.
Also a great job stylizing some parts like Hahli's lower arms and upper legs to be more streamlined. When I attempt to do that, it looks cluttered. I need to practice more with robot-like forms before I can manage that sort of detail.

lol, this is great! ya know, its funny because i just read this part in the books the other day, and i was thinking "some one should draw this."
great job. the only thing i would change, is i believe all female characters should have femine feature (i.e. breast, hips, etc.)

Nice Job adding a feminine contrast to Hahli's usual "Mustache". Good job on Matoro's expression too.
