OMG.... FINALLLY... FFFFFF x_____xI stayed up... all night. Again. Lol...
I was inspired by the #AoHC Cannibal Meme: [link] And throughout the entire time I was drawing, I had him holding a beating heart in his hand. Until the last hour, I decided to change it to a pomegranate. >_> Well, maybe I'll upload a blood/gore/heart version sometime...
Everything was drawn by hand. Every FREAKING ANNOYING TREE BRANCH OMG @___@ [Because I fail at making/using custom brushes. And I am somehow too lazy to switch brushes....]
I drew it GIGANTICALLY and lagged my Photoshop T__T. Hopefully this is big enough to see all the detail.

Refs: I used some refs (and my hand) for his hands. Googled pics of scraggly trees, pomegranates, hearts, and acolyte clothes. No refs for his face/body.

But he opens his mouth with a harsh gasp, he grips the handle, using two hands against the slippery slide of the blood running down the blade. With harsh jerks, he makes slices between his rib cage. Smiling, pupils dilated with an indiscernible emotion, he jerks the athame away and tosses onto the ground in front of Xerith. Then he plunges his right hand into his chest and tugs.*
