It's really not based on a/story/. Though, it /is/ based on events that had occoured during the Edo-Period. There is not a specific story to who this happened to, because it was something that happened continously throughout that time period. So, what i'm trying to say is, no, this story didn't happen, but the events, sadly did. (Sorry if I sounded bitchy, just setting the facts straight)
