His mother was a pet cat, and he was destined to be a pet as well. Unfortunately, the mother cat was very inexperienced and ended up killing her own babies.

Well I'm sorry for asking something you are not able to reply to, the skin did bother me a bit but I didn't go as far to think it's the skin of a dead cat.
