Description This is the first art request for

A Japanese princess...who has a love for pearls and her beauty radiant like the moon. The eight floating pearls are magical and always accompany her where she goes. As she is beautiful, she is gentle and full of wisdom and virtue and is loved by all who love her.

After sketching her, I inked her with the G-pen with the soft tips. Then I used charcoal for the background and chalk pastels for the moon. Then I colored the rest of the picture with colors pencils. It was hard but the result was worth it and I used fixative to fix it. I had to use Photoshop to restore the color of the picture after scanning (close to the original).

I hope it's good ^^ the second request should be finished...soon...I hope

Very, very pretty coloring! I wish I could color and draw like that! I really like the detail on the clothes and her stance. I wish I could see this in motion, atually, you can kind of picture her moving because its so detailed!

heheheheh, it's kinda tricky, the best way to draw clothing is to make them look snug and fitting and flow in the natural flow of the body posture ^^ and dun be afraid to be imaginative ^^

I like the design of her outfit, although I do think it might do the composition better if you had made her slightly smaller so that she doesn't have to compete with the moon for focus. Also, I think it would look nice (and perhaps blend a little better) if you'd added stars into the background -- maybe more intense ones near the white glow of the princess, and have them grow smaller as you move away from her. I dunno XD; Just some ideas. It does look wonderful though, bravo for your use of traditional media! (I personal despise chalk pastels =_= they just don't work right for me ..which is so odd, since charcoal and I get along just fine.)

The shading, combined with the deep, lush blues really make this picture one your eyes can dive right into and appreciate not only the smooth transitions between shades, but the great detail focused in the critical areas of the character. THe feeling in this piece is one of peace and serenity, happy times.. the only thing I would work on is the smoke. The smoke looks too solid. But that's it. Otherwise, it's an amazing piece n__n; good work!

Ur outfit designs are always so awesome I love the background...it's so dark and beautiful. Only thing that kinda stands out is the background is like...fluffy? And the bottoms swirls aren't really fluffy so it makes them look more solid rather than misty? Sorry if that didn't make sense
