Description An update to the previous Olympias (updated) .

I did this one shortly after Olympia 8 came out and then forgot to upload. I figure I should get it up now, since, if forum speculation is correct (and I wouldn't be hugely surprised if it was), there will be another figure coming out soon. Gotta stay ahead of the game, you know?

No hugely detailed analysis this time. Olympia 8 is shorter than her immediate predecessor Olympia 7 and about in line with Olympia 6. Body shape is both a bit more muscular and a bit more zaftig than Olympia 7, more muscular than Olympia 6. Longer hip line than Olympia 6, but shorter legs than Olympia 7. Honestly, she looks a bit like they took Olympia 7 and compressed her height somehow.

One interesting hallmark of this generation to date: Olympia 8 looks like the most mature, oldest of the Olympias to date. Similarly, Victoria 8 looked older than Victoria 7.

I should note that this is absolutely NOT Olympia 8's default shader setup. It's not a huge tinker, but she ships with translucency set to 0.9, which is quite quite high. I knocked it down to 0.4, and even with it set to less than half, she's still notably tan.

Typically, I've used Olympia most as a contributing shape to other slider-slid figures. (In all seriousness, I'm not sure that I've ever used Victoria's base that way.) She tends to provide a shape that most of the figures just don't have. It looks like that will still be true, for the most part.

I also used Bethany that way, but if they've jumped all the way to Olympia from Victoria, it's not at all clear that Bethany will appear in this generation. According to morph list in hair and clothes, it looks like the next female up in this generation will be Teen Josie; oddly, it looks like she's appearing roughly on schedule -- she's been a September/October release previously.
