(FWIW, this is conceptual, not abstract; But Abstract is an oft-misunderstood category, so you're not alone in that. )

Thanks, I think its best in abstract as I don't really have much of a concept for it. I guess it can go in both, I could've flipped a coin to decide.

re: "flip a coin," yeah, that's the common misconception, that the two are interchangeable, when in truth they're fundamentally if subtly different. If you don't have a concept, then perhaps Still Life might work for you? It's actually to your benefit so that people looking for artwork like yours by browsing will be led here...it's quite a nice image, and you obviously put effort into it.

FWIW, one way to tell the difference is that there are distinct physical objects here, while an abstract is more of a formless representation of an idea, like these from my favs gallery: [link] (an abstract photo) and [link] (an abstract painting).

I am not sure if you are familiar about the photographer Abelardo Morell.
His technique is blending 2 films together.
And this photo reminds me of his works.

i can't get over how beautifully crisp this image is...it's an intriguing composition, i find myself looking for symbols and images created by these suspended metallic objects...whether or not you inteded for something to be there, i think the abstraction of lights and textures here is really visually splendid.
