Avast ye scurvy dogs! This was done as an entry for `Vlei ’s Deviant Map Contest [link] It supposed to look like an old timey pirate treasure map. Where is the treasure you ask? It’s in the treasure chest of course, which you can see the bottom of at the top of the image., waiting to be buried. I wanted to map the major areas of dA’s categories. I like the overall composition of this map; it's very organic. The few times I've tried to "create" a map myself, it's looked entirely contrived.
