This is an easy way to colouring, but a little cold. I prefer use some texture now even if I like animation too

As I like dark elves I am used to cold tones. No problem with that.
And easy ways can help add to a picture, if it is done right. The more complex something is, the easier it is to get some things wrong. Or maybe even if you do it all right, you don't quite strike the point you wanted to.

I try to find references anywhere, it's not because I draw heroical-fantasy story I only search heroical-fantasy references. It's more original with original reference
