His hand draws away from her face, but he does not allow her to remove her hands. Instead, he brings his other hand up, cupping her hands gently between his own. He can feel her warmth. She is so close…so close to him. He could grab her and kiss her, crush her body against his. He could give her all of him that he can possibly surrender.
And he would surrender to her…because she is the only one who he can trust with himself.
“Yes.” He whispers.
Starcrossed lovers or a love that is destined to overcome all obstacles and allow two to become one. Only time can tell.

These two are my favorite couple...it's actually the first time I actually cared about the characters, especially Melanie...her love with Terry was very interesting...too bad she "no longer exists" in his life now...which is kinda sad for me because I really loved this couple!! X3

Once again, the Batman and Catwoman of their generation... maybe that's why Bruce was being so harsh on Terry-he wanted to spare him the heartache and indesicion. Nicely done!

I confess, I almost think the heartbreak was equally distributed between them - I think Terry's heart was broken as much as Melanie's was. But that's just my opinion.

Melanie just looks so lovely here--I just want to grab her. Terry looks all right, but that underbite is rather goofy...but that's really the show designers' fault, not yours.
