The glow effect around Rex's brain is really neat! Also its pretty sure detail adding the bright green around him! makes him stand out even more! Nice work!

it's pity, Roxy is dead! Roboscorpions killed her, and when i "resurrect"ed her, those sh*tty robots killed her again, and she fall through textures and totally gone... such a cruel world.. in subj: Very nice drowing! reminds me Roxy T__T

Meh, I prefer Ed-E...
Ed-E has frickin lasers on its head... ^^

I just played this mission in new Vegas though, gave him Rey's (the scrapyard dog) brain... ^^

I use both of them, but ED-E is pretty cool!
I took the easiest route and killed old lady Gibson's dog for his new brain.

Yeah that's Rey... I convinced the old lady Gibson to do it herself for free... ^^

Ah, see, I did the quest when I was something like lvl 3, months ago. I didn't high enough speech or barter so I just killed him while she was sleeping :[ lol.

with great difficulty ): Travelling to jacobstown was horrible. I had arcade with me though. I still died over 20 times (cazadors. they're everywhere)

It's not lack of faith it's simply befuddled.Β

Straight to vegas, avoid the Deathclaws, pick up Arcade and Rex straight away, make rex your ultimate priority, get to Gibson's scrap yard, steal the doges brain, run to Jacobstown past the Cazadores that don't always attack you and Arcade and Rex can deal w/them pretty well with your help.

It's do-able.Β

I see. But I do prefer to go on the long way. More XP and good stuff on the way.

Oh yeah, I loved going the long way, the first few times. I love the journey of hunting down Benny and investigating and the obstacles you meet along the way.

Butttt you can get kind of sick to death of that way because it takes a while and the quests aren't that exciting.

Besides, you get practically told "Don't go downΒ past Quarry Junction that's only for people who are hardc00r3" so I guess if you're the person who's up for a challenge then you'llΒ go that way. Plus, doing all the quests is always more fun when you've got your favouriteΒ companions with you.Β

I may be a badass but I'm far from stupid. I will take the longer way for all the goods on the way I never get tired of the Ghouls mission I have all the DLC's so I can go directly to Dead Money first giving me my favorite energy rifle.

*sigh* Why Fallout why can't you have better sniping and stealth gameplay and also WHY YOU NO LET US DO PARKHOUR?!

A challenge is a challenge, sometimes it's fun to do both. You can always do the long way after you've got to Vegas, it's just nice to have most of the map open to you early on, in my opinion.
I think tactically, yes the long way is better.

I do wish the stealth gameplay was better, like it was in The Elder Scrolls. We need more silencers for weapons ;-;

I prefer the long way because of all the stuff you get on the way.Β

I mean it's only logical?

"Hey there's a dude right there why don't I sneak from behind and slit his throat with this knife? Oh wait that would be too logical." Honestly I wish they combined the Dishonored mechanics and fallout into one badass game. They were made by the same people.

FilthyCasual In reply to Rexlare [2013-08-23 20:35:21 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, everyone is different, though. The long way is the way it was meant to be played, but, if you love Arcade and Rex as much as Hellhoundly does, then there's no option in what your priorities are.

And yeah, I get you. There's the mister sandman perk which helps you kill sleeping characters, and sneak attack criticals do help, but yeah, there should be some kind of stealth VATS cqc takedown maybe.

-sighs-

I guess it's easy to say what a developer should or Β shouldn't have done. Being a developer is probably the hardest part of all.

Rexlare In reply to FilthyCasual [2013-08-23 20:38:52 +0000 UTC]

I really didn't care that much for Rex and Arcade as much as Boone and EDE. But I do know a lot of people like those two. Nothing against them.

True being a developer is difficult but the more work you put in the better the product is. But then again Fallout already had a shit load of stuff. I really do like the Dishonored mechanics.

But hey try doing a play through without fast traveling at all.
