I just love hearing it when artists talk about loving a medium. It sounds so uplifting. But that's beside the point. Your painting is amazing and the contrast between the frog and the background really makes it stand out. I really like how the background isn't just black but contains slight color within in to add interest. Now I feel like going to my local art store and buying some paints!

It always nice to inspire someone else, and i could recommend getting some acrylics paint. It nice. I even manage to blend in som water color pigments in the dyes to get exactly the shaded I wanted.
