Then you got the scene when Nintendo and Microsoft teaming up tonprmite cross-play. The reason they are at number ten is because of Microsoft.

9. Heihachi (Tekken): Remember this year we had the rumour where Heihachi would be revealed in Super Smash Bros Ultimate in Evo 2018. Obviously that didn't happened, but that was a good time. 2nd he was considered a playable character in smash 4 but couldnt because of his moveset feeling complicated. Well then he might get a second chance if you think it through. Either way, tekken is a huge as street fighter and like stated before, sakurai considered him to be playable so he does have good chance. So would he appear in a crossover fighting game like what he did in PlayStation all stars.

8. Geno (Super Mario RPG): Sakurai considered him to be a DLC character back in 2015, but qas dropped because square enix wanted a more iconic and marketable character which qas cloud strife. Dont get me wrong, cloud may be one of my favorite sword users in history but i guess geno can join in too because i herd that the smash ultimate roster is going to use fighter ballot data.

7. Fjorm (Fire Emblem Heores): The fire emblem heroes mobile game is one of the biggest and best selling mobile game there is. When you talk about nintendo mobile games, the first one you think of is this one actually. We also need a lance user, nuff said.

6. Shadow the hedgehog (Sonic): so far, he's not yet announced as an assist trophy! The real reason is because shadow is one of the most requested sonic characters in smash and do you know why? Well because hes one of the most prominent elements in modern sonic's era, him having his first appearance in Sonic adventure 2 and his popularity helps while also being more prominent than other modern sonic's characters.

5. Isaac (Golden Sun): the golden sun games on GBA were met with critical praising and he was one of the assist trophies that were only featured in brawl and never appeared again. The series may be dead but it still stands as one of nintendo's greatest cult classics along with one of the most important titles on the game boy advance. It has so much fan praise that Isaac is featured in fan games so that means that he is still a fan favorite.

4. Jibanyan (Yo-kai watch): easy right. This 3rd party series is one of those series that would only appear on nintendo consoles. Ever since it was first released it had abery sucessful release. Although it is true the north American version was not a big as Japan, however he still stands strong. Also, the series also did appear on non-nintendo related stuff as well whcih is a sign that is really popular mostly in japan whcih makes him as marketable as pikachu.

3. Monster hunter: Rhatalos assist trophy. Nuff said. Also one of capcom's biggest franchises.

From mario in just dance, rayman and globox dressed up as mario and luigi in rayman legends DLC to even the titular character having a trophy in smash 4 wii u to even mario and rabbids getting a crossover and most recently Star fox and star link battle for atlas getting a crossover.

1. Bandana Waddle Dee: these generic characters has always been appearing in the Kirby games making them as Prominent as a Goomba from Mario. But ever since this bandana wearing fella came along, he became a prominent character in multiplayer modern kirby games.
