that image show great compsition and depth without any blur so it is certainly not necessary - remember too you can control bliur and depth of field with aperture settings as well as relying on manipulations after the shot

i control and am very aware of the aperture settings and velocity when using a better camera, this one's not that good

you could have blured something... either background , either some of body.
picture is really nice and good, but needs a bit manipulation. :>
