"This is freaking ridiculous, why are we out here again?" Nikolai said. Apparently Cassie had seen some 'amazing' looking horse wandering around the stables for the past two weeks and she wanted to get a closer look, mostly because it had a wound on its right side, or so she said.

Letting out a sigh, Cassie rolled her eyes. "I never said you had to be here, actually it'd be better off if you weren't here, you might scare her off with your face," Cassie teased.

"Oh you think you're so fu-" Nikolai was cut off as Cassie jumped up excitedly and made her way closer to the field. In the middle of it was the oddest marked horse Nikolai had ever seen, it was like something out of some sort of scifi movie. Not only were its markings odd, but the horse freaking glowed. Sitting down on a hill overlooking the field, Nikolai watched for several hours as Cassie gained the shy horse's trust. Finally Cassie was able to kneel in front of the shy mare and pat her nose gently.

"Hey, girl. It's ok. Everything's going to be ok." Cassie said and gently slipped a halter onto the horse. Surprisingly the mare didn't spook or try to run away. Once she had a lead rope clipped to the grey mare, Cassie carefully led it to a quieter part of the barn and called a vet. There was a huge, nasty gash on the side of the mare. It looked like she had gotten caught in a barbed wire fence. There was some damage on her legs too, nothing too serious, Cassie just didn't want the wounds to become infected.

Nikolai made his way over to Cassie and the mare and looked at her. "Well aren't you the weirdest looking thing." He said, tilting his head. At that the mare freaked out and reared in the stall she had been placed in.

"I think you should go..." Cassie said as she calmed the horse down, patting her neck gently. Nikolai quietly nodded and walked off as the vet came in, muttering something under his breath.

Disipline: None yet, trying to break her still. They're hoping to use her either as a dressage horse or she'll be used as a therapy horse. They just need to get her over her fear of men, otherwise she's perfect.
