Done for the WitchGoddess and Damon and Bonnie live journals. (I'm Sana4eva)
The characters are not mine. Just playing with them, will put back.

well my coloured drawings are actually a mix. the drawing is traditional but i colour it in photoshop. i dont think its worthy of submitting to groups, thats why its never had much interest, until the wonderful showed it to the world

This is so cool and clever
I started a trial a few days ago hand/mouse draw/colour everything, but it looked nothing like her. Ending up tracing instead in forefront.

Even so, you get the feeling that colouring it is gonna be a doozy. Thank goodness for the Smear tool.

i really like that. it all looks good so far. the only criticism i have is that maybe her face looks abit higher on the right? but it might be how its supposed to be? but yes i think this is going to be really good when its done. i cant wait to see it.
oh by the way, if you want to do it how i do then all the work has to be done in the hand drawing. all the shading, the light/dark and the texture has to be put in with the pencils. then when you do colour balance in photoshop its already textured and realistic

Oh, wow.. full traditional which is cool
I tend to use the Color hue/Red-Yellow to warm up the pic for AA skin tone. Contrast and as you said, col.balance are heavensent! (Smudge tool on a low percent is wonderful for blending) With the new rules on copyright :sigh: have to get more sneaky or honest.

i prefer not to use colour in my drawings, i like to stick to graphite grey. so no i havent got watercolour pencils. and im honoured that you think theres a chance i might be professionally trained
i dont use photoshop to the level that you do so ive never really used smudge or any of the others. i find smudge isnt as good as doing it with the actual drawing, but that could be my lack of knowledge with it

There's a clarity with your graphite and pencil colors that only come with skill and understanding of the craft, which is unspeakably beautiful btw.
self-taught has that pioneer can-do spirit! it's a fiddle, but the effort is seeing it come to life.
haven't been able to bring down her eye yet, without smooshing.

as for your work, ive never seen digital wip's before so never really understood them so its great for me to see this one progressing, and i really love it so far. everything looks so magical, its beautiful. can you let me see more wip's as you get further through this one please?
